The Maryland Terrapins are a Division I NCAA basketball team that plays games at the Comcast Center in College Park, Maryland. The stadium first opened in 2002 and Terps games have a seating capacity of 17,950. The Terrapins play in the Atlantic Coast Conference against other eastern seaboard rivals and have racked up multiple conference titles, Sweet 16, Elite Eight, and Final Four appearances, and an NCAA National Championship since they started hooping it up in 1904. Notable Terps include Joe Smith, Len Elmore, Greivis Vasquez, Steve Francis, Steve Blake, Len Bias, Juan Dixon, and Albert King. Terps’ tickets can be hard to get since the massive student body and alumni network fills the stadium for every home game.
