Maryland Terrapins Football

The Maryland Terrapins are a Division I NCAA football team that plays games at Byrd Stadium on the University of Maryland campus in College Park, Maryland. The stadium first opened in 1950, has been renovated multiple times since, and currently has a seating capacity of 54,000 for Terps games. The Terrapins play in the Atlantic Coast Conference against other east coast rivals and have racked up multiple conference titles, bowl games victories, and national championships since they started playing back in 1892. Notable Terps include EJ Henderson, Stan Jones, Randy White, Boomer Esiason, Shawn Merriman, Vernon Davis, and Torrey Smith. Terrapins’ tickets are always tough to get since the massive student body and alumni network fills the stadium for every home game.
