Baltimore Blast

The Baltimore Blast is a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) team that plays games at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The stadium was built in 1962 and has a seating capacity of 11,286. The Blast started kicking the ball around in 1980, and were dissolved in 1992. The Baltimore Spirit took the Blast’s place in ’92 but were renamed the Blast again in 1998. Blast games are charged affairs as most indoor soccer games are and the team has a solid history of winning MISL Championships. Some notable Blast players include Machel Millwood, Mike Stankovic, Stan Stamenkovic, and Max Ferdinand. Blast tickets aren’t tough to come by and can be purchased at the stadium.
