The Birchmere (Alexandria, VA) Concert Venue

The Birchmere is a dinner theater-type music venue located at 3701 Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. The music hall in the Birchmere is typically set up with tables; however, occasionally there are Bandstand events at the Birchmere which are standing-room only and for shows that tend to encourage dancing. Unless otherwise specified, shows at the Birchmere begin at 7:30pm, but guests are permitted to enter at 6pm, which is encouraged if guests wish to order dinner. The box office opens at 5pm, allowing guests to enter and enjoy pre-dinner drinks. Entry is first-come, first-serve and all shows are all-ages.
