Jiffy Lube Live (Bristow, VA) Information

Jiffy Lube Live is a live music venue located at 7800 Cellar Door Drive in Bristow, Virginia. Jiffy Lube Live was formerly known as Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge or, simply, Nissan Pavilion. The venue seats 10,000 in its seating area and can accommodate an additional 15,000 on its lawn for a total capacity of 25,000. The location for Jiffy Lube Live was chosen due to its ability to accommodate a large amount of people for multiple days and easy access to nearby highways. An inaugural festival at Jiffy Lube Live was held in June of 1995 featuring KC and the Sunshine Band and The Village People.

Other notable events at Jiffy Lube Live have included former Senator Barack Obama's rally for his 2008 presidential campaign and festivals such as ROCKSTAR Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, Farm Aid, and the DC101 Kerfuffle. Past performers at Jiffy Lube Live have included Britney Spears, Tina Turner, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Tailgating at Jiffy Lube Live was banned in 2011 but reinstated in 2012 with restrictions which can be found on the venue's official website.

Santiago Burelli Mar 4, 2013 2.0 stars Nice venue with flaws. Jiffy Lube Live is one of the main venues for big name artists coming to the Washington DC area. It is a medium sized venue that seats approximately 25,000. It is located 35 miles outside the city and the drive is definitely worth it for a good band. There is always traffic upon arrival into the private parking lot but fret not and plan ahead by leaving earlier. Make up your time by drinking in the parking lot along with the rest of the tailgaters. Just be careful with security, use solo cups and do not be belligerent, I have seen these guys take a few drunkards down. The concert offers pavilion and lawn seating. The lawn is a large amphitheater that can turn into a mud slide on a rainy day, but on a good day it can be incomparable. My most notable concerts at Jiffy Lube Live were 311, Coldplay, and Kings of Leon. All were great experiences, though sound quality could get better. Customer service is great just don't get duped by the steep beer prices. This is a good place to watch a show, enjoy!

Jody Pollara Nov 30, 2012 3.0 stars Formerly Nissan Pavillion Although I've been to this venue many, many times, I don't think i've been there since it became Jiffy Lube Live in 2010. However, I don't imagine much has changed save for the name. I actually went to my very first concert here - and it was Hanson. And no, I'm not ashamed. I was only 14 after all! After that concert, I attended many more and less embarrassing shows and always had a great time. The venue itself is huge and has a huge seated area surrounded by a huge lawn for standing/sitting room. If you are from the nearby urban areas of DC and Baltimore, you will feel like you are going out to the middle of nowhere to attend a show here. But this is a good thing considering most of the city venues have early curfews due to the neighborhoods where they are located, and I don't believe Jiffy Lube Live has one at all (don't quote me on that though!). Overall, I think this is a really fun place to see shows.
