Jun 16, 2012 —  The allure of Washington, DC is obvious: the towering monuments and famous free museums, the historic parks, and the regal testaments to America’s political prowess that overflow throughout the landscape.

It’s almost enough to make you overlook how the city turns into a summertime swamp, that average rents are ridiculous, or that traffic is so bad even people visiting from perpetually gridlocked Los Angeles are like WTF?

Almost.

But hey, it’s easy to poke fun at any city – Venice is sinking, Paris is covered in dog poop, Londoners drive on the wrong side of the road – and Party Earth isn’t about taking cheap shots.

We are, however, all over helping you find some cheap things to do in DC that can make for a great date, at prices even a Capitol Hill page could afford.
