Party Earth Review: Perched atop an immaculately restored mill that is now home to the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel, Skyline Bar is a light and airy lounge that serves exquisite fruit and herb cocktails complemented by excellent views of the city. By day, the bar is frequented by a relaxed clientele of mostly hotel guests who stop in for a light lunch or a dip in the rooftop pool. At sunset, however, the pampered guests are joined by a well-dressed in-crowd of upper-crust Venetians lured in by this fresh and modern hotspot. A sleek central bar area offers a laid-back atmosphere for chatting, though in warmer months, the festive crowd gathers under the stars on the two outdoor patios, romantically lit by scattered lanterns, to mingle and move to the upbeat ambient music. The bar’s distinctive ambiance and breathtaking views can be enjoyed any time, but Skyline is definitely at its most exuberant during Happy Hour on Saturday nights and for the popular theme nights it hosts throughout the year.

Entertainment/Music

Ambient music and a breathtaking panorama of the entire lagoon. Occasional DJs. Various parties and special events held throughout the year like Halloween and New Year’s Eve. Check the website for a schedule of events.

Salads, sandwiches, pasta, and grilled fish and meat dishes. Happy Hour on Saturday nights includes a hearty open buffet. The hotel offers free shuttle service from Zattere and Piazza San Marco.

Cover charge €35/special events and monthly parties, includes two drinks. Dinner averages €70/person. Beer €8–€11, wine €8–€15/glass or €39+/bottle, mixed drinks and cocktails €11–€44, Venetian spritz €11, coffee €8.
