O'Neill's Soho - Irish Pub | Restaurant in London.
Jun 18, 2013 When In Doubt...Go to O'Neills "There are several O’Neills locations throughout London, but as far as I’m concerned, this is the only one. This three-story pub draws a mixed, dynamic crowd and is always fun. While studying abroad in London, this was my go-to spot. When all other clubs and pubs failed, my group of friends and I always managed to find ourselves at O’Neills. I have been here on multiple days throughout the week, and honestly, you can’t tell a Monday night from a Friday night. Every night is packed, filled with everyone from students to older locals. The drinks are pretty cheap, I would pay about three pounds for cider. The three floors provide a little something for everyone. The ground floor is more the traditional pub atmosphere, while bands play on the second and third floors giving more of a club type feel. The third floor is wide open so it’s a great place to get your groove on. O’Neills is great if you’re looking for that happy medium between a traditional pub and club." hide

American Junkie - Restaurant | Sports Bar in Los Angeles.
Jun 18, 2013 Best Night Out in Hermosa "American Junkie is a relatively new hotspot in Hermosa Beach. It’s always packed on weekends and always a good time. The bar is divided into two rooms, their “house” room and their “video” room. The house room hosts DJs and VIP lounges. While the room is pretty small and can get very snug, the music and lights are awesome...making you forget how crowded it is anyway. The video room boasts multiple tv screens that play music videos to the songs that play. AJ’s is my go-to spot in Hermosa. It has two large bars, and keep your eye out...some of the bartenders have been Real World cast members. The bar-staff is super friendly, however the bouncers can tend to be rude. Make sure you get there before 10pm to avoid paying cover and waiting in a ridiculously long line. Some fun things about the bar...they have a free photo booth so you can take as many pictures as you want with your friends. They also play host to some cool B-List celebrities. A few weeks ago YouTube star Keenan Cahill hosted Thursday night festivities. Love this place. Check it out. Have some fun. " hide

  • The Happy Ending

The Happy Ending - Bar | Sports Bar in Los Angeles.
Jun 18, 2013 The Happy Ending Provides Just As Its Name Says... "Out of the couple times I’ve been to Happy Ending, it has yet to disappoint. The first time I went here was on my 21st birthday. We thought it was a fitting location given it’s name. This turned out to be true. When we walked in late on a Thursday night, it was packed. A large bar in the center separates the room. On one side there is music, blaring top 40 music, the other side is a bit quieter and very dive bar like. The crowd is mixed, housing everyone from students to dads and hipsters. I’ve even met a few foreigners..and celebrities here as well. At Happy Endings, everyone is welcome. The bar provides a little bit of everything. All in one night you can play pool, some darts, and dance too. And after dancing all night, it helps that it’s right across the street from In N’ Out, and IHOP is down the street too. If you don’t feel like wearing heels, or getting all dolled up, that’s perfectly ok at Happy Ending. While some may be dressed up, it’s not necessary. I’ve worn flip flops and fit in just fine. I’d go to Happy Ending if you’re looking for a super chill place where you can let your hair down and let loose. " hide
