  • Royal Albert Hall

    London
    Concert Venue
Royal Albert Hall - Concert Venue in London.
Aug 24, 2012 Uniquely London "London has a million awesome things to do and places to see, but if you're going to see a concert it is hard to find a cooler and more uniquely London venue that the Royal Albert Hall. Just being there makes you feel british. The idea of going to see a show whether its Adele, Dizzee Rascal or Bloc Party in such an ornate and proper setting is hilarious. They also host all different types of shows so everyone is bound to find a performance at some point here that interesting. I saw a classical music concert here, and despite being distinctly a non-classical music fan, could not help but enjoy myself. Being in that atmosphere for a show is enough to make your experience worth it." hide

  • The Church

    London
    Club
The Church - Club in London.
Aug 24, 2012 Ridiculous "There is absolutely nothing normal about The Church. The drink deal is 3 cans of either cider or beer with your admission ticket - but that will not be enough to handle the crowd here. Most people are drunk by the time they get here at around 10 am. The party is 4 hours long and by the end of it you have a hard time comprehending how ridiculous everything that just happened was. It is also strange taking the train and Tube because it is normal people carrying about on their regular sunday days and people who just came from the Church - weird mix. I don't think I could do The Church more than once but if you are adventurous and want to see what all the fuss is about - go - it's worth it for the experience. Also, dress as ridiculously as you can or you'll stick out big time. " hide

  • El Bosc de les Fades

    Barcelona
Bar / Café / Drinking Activity
El Bosc de les Fades - Bar | Café | Drinking Activity in Barcelona.
Aug 24, 2012 Hidden but worth it. "Finding this place is not easy, however after walking back into the courtyard and winding through the hallways and doorways that eventually lead to the forest/bar I was pleasantly surprised. It reminded of a Rainforest Cafe for the young adult crowd. It is definitely weird to drink and hang out in a fake rainforest but I enjoyed the novelty of it. The area is pretty small and feels even more enclosed with the trees. It is difficult to find a place to sit or even something to lean against but walking around checking out the "forest" is not a bad alternative. I don't think I'd be a frequent visitor but I think it is definitely worth a visit just to get a taste of something different in the middle Barcelona. " hide
