  • L'As du Fallafel

    Paris
    Middle Eastern Restaurant
L'As du Fallafel - Middle Eastern Restaurant in Paris.
Nov 19, 2013 This restaurant will become your new Parisian comfort food. "If you're new to the idea of trying any food in Paris that does not involve crepes, nutella, cheese or wine then you may be asking yourself "Why would I go to Paris and eat a fallafel?!" But it's not your fault you have not yet been educated in the amazing taste explosion dance party that happens in your body upon eating at this restaurant! Not only do they do their own excellent spin on fallafels, they also happen to be nestled in Le Marais, the Jewish district of Paris, which is filled with cheap and delicious bakeries, dozens of small designer fashion boutiques, and easy access to other Parisian must-sees like Place des Voges. Depending on the time that you visit L'As, there may be a bit of a line or wait period because they are so famous and their popularity only grows. But the staff is very efficient and you always get your food our fast with taste and quality never faltering. You wont regret skipping the crepes for one meal, these fallafels please everyone!" hide

  • Jardin Des Tuileries

Jardin Des Tuileries - Park | Landmark in Paris.
Nov 19, 2013 A park that embodies the lifestyle of Paris! "This vast garden, stretching between the steps of the Louvre all the down the base of the Champs-Elysees, is one of those iconic spots in Paris that must be seen in order to get the full Parisian experience. The park is always buzzing with some sort of fun no matter the season nor time of day. Many carnivals, rides, and even concerts are featured in the garden year round and there are always a few stands scattered about selling nonalcoholic drinks, crepes, and ice cream. It's a great spot to stroll around, bring some wine and a picnic and just hang out. But be careful, as the garden is quite touristy and where there are tourists there are seemingly always unsavory people trying to scam money from them! But usually these types are easy to spot and shoo away if you're paying attention. Otherwise, the garden is truly a lovely place where all people, young and old, gravitate toward to immerse themselves in the leisurely Parisian lifestyle. You must join them!" hide
