Prudential Center (Newark, NJ) - Arena | Concert Venue in New York.
Mar 27, 2013 Beautiful Venue surrounded by not-so-great details "The Prudential Center is a huge and very impressive arena in Newark, New Jersey for concerts and sports games. My last visit was to a Devil's Game. Unfortunately, the arena itself was about the only great thing about the experience. The Devil's Fans are a little too extreme and proud for my liking. One of the reasons I say this is because they had won 1 single game the entire season when I went and yet we had to change our seats because of harassing fans (I'm not a Devil's Fan). Even so, fine- have your pride even if it isn't deserved. I am not a complainer and do not like to let things like this get to me. But, at the very least, do not harass others who don't support your team by blowing tubas in their ears and screaming offensive things until it cannot be stood anymore. When we went to change our seats, the employees were extremely rude, as if defending the fans! They gave us worse seats than we started with that had almost no one in our section, but the few people that were there made sure to continue the harassment. The other downfall is the only beautiful part of the location is the arena- I felt unsafe even walking through the parking lot. I had wanted to leave my purse hidden in the car, but was strongly advised by many not to do so and was pretty uncomfortable having it the whole game- and walking with it in the street. We went to a little bar across the street after the game because it was about the only place we felt comfortable enough to walk alone. The arena itself was enjoyable, with a nice selection of second floor bars (that you need to be VIP for many to even enter), but almost everything else was not." hide

Times Square - Culture | Landmark | Nightlife Area | Outdoor Activity | Shopping Area | Square in New York.
Mar 27, 2013 The Core of The Big Apple "If New York is "The Big Apple", Times Square is the equivalent of the core of the big apple. While New York offers a bit of everything- the coolest of the cool in SoHo, the richest of the rich on Fifth Avenue, the most cosmopolitan of The Met, Times Square has all you could hope to see, and millions of watts more. The electric billboards everywhere, with only the most beautiful people on them. The amount of lights, colors, and brightness that your eyes take in is absolutely inspiring- you can literally see how this city inspires all dreams to come true. The most beautiful mix of every culture you could ever wish to see in the sea of people flooding the street. The most famous stores and restaurants- it's as if you're in the middle of a show- center stage on a broadway play. Speaking of, a broadway play is a must see in this electric area! My personal favorites have been "Promises, Promises", "Cabaret", and "The Lion King." Look out for student and matinee discounts as seats may get a little pricey! (they're worth it) As for food, there are too many famous restaurants to even be picky! One of my absolute favorite is "Bubba Gump"- right out of the movie Forrest Gump! " hide

Mar 27, 2013 More Magic in Rome "“The Spanish Stairs” was one of my favorite attractions in Rome. The atmosphere and energy in Rome is unbelievable magical. Like walking through a history book. Breathtakingly beautiful, so much to take in, and the Spanish Stairs are no different. There is a huge whale fountain at the bottom, which serves an impressive view of the stairs. It may be the lighting in Rome that makes everything look so romantically beautiful, but my personal favorite was seeing the stairs at night, without the crowds of people, which make it hard to get a decent picture. They are a must see located in the centre of Rome and always worth making the trip up-even after a long night out! " hide
