Getty Center - Museum in Los Angeles.
Mar 28, 2013 The Best Museum in LA "The Getty Center is my favorite museum in Los Angeles. I’ve been there dozens of times, held events, and even written two papers about it. Art is represented by many different time periods and styles and the visiting exhibits are always the top. The Julia Margaret Cameron exhibit that I went to when I was little inspired me to become a photographer. Despite my adoration of art, my favorite part of the Getty is the gardens. The gardens themselves are an art piece because it takes careful orchestration to make plants and flowers native to entirely different climates live in harmony side by side. There is always some new secret garden or spot to explore every time I go. The museum makes you feel like you are on top of the world and with the gorgeous view of the city, you may as well be. Mar 28, 2013 My Favorite Venue "The Gibson Amphitheatre is my favorite concert venue. I have been to at least half a dozen shows. It is just so convenient and comfortable. There is no bad seat because it is a relatively small venue. The size does limit the extent of sets and theatrics, but I’ve seen some rather creative methods that artists have used to get around the limitations. The seats are also the most comfortable I have experienced in a music venue. One of the best things about Gibson is it is right in the middle of LA hotspot City Walk. Shopping and food are right outside and if you need even more thrills, there’s Universal Studios Amusement Park as well! " hide

Mar 28, 2013 A Great Museum "A day at the Grammy Museum is a great outing for any music lover. There are always fascinating exhibits and the permanent collection is wonderful as well. Everything is very interactive. You will most likely spend the majority of your time with headphones on your head because there is music EVERYWHERE. You can discover new genres, play instruments, sit down and watch a film, or relive the colorful history of music. There is even a disco dance floor. The museum does a great job at stimulating all of the senses. This is not your average look-but-don’t-touch museum. Of course you shouldn’t touch the musical “relics” but there is just so much to do! I definitely recommend going. " hide
