The Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Contest is an annual skateboarding competition held in September at the Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark (LCRSP) in San Jose, California and the Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Park (TBMSP) in Scotts Valley, California. LCRSP is the largest skate park in California with 68,000 square feet of riding space, while TBMSP is a skate park dedicated to the memory of deceased skater and contest namesake Tim Brauch.
Established in 1999, The Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Contest features two separate competitions. The LCRSP holds the major U.S. Bowl Contest featuring top skaters from across the world competing in four divisions for a $5,000 prize. The TBMSP holds the less serious of the competitions in the youth-focused street contest. Past Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Contest winners include Steve Caballero, Brad McClain, and Benji Galloway.
The Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Contest is free to watch and has an open registration to competitors of all ages.
