The Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regattas San Francisco is an annual three-day sailing race held in September at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon, California. The Corinthian Yacht Club, founded in 1886, is a historic yacht club located on the San Francisco Bay and features their stunning white clubhouse that is considered one of California’s oldest landmarks.
The Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regattas San Francisco is one of the eight annual NOOD regattas, which feature some of the best sailors from around the world competing in eight different classes. The winner of each class receives a prize along with best overall boat receiving a trip to the British Virgin Islands for the Sperry Top-Sider Nood Championships. Past Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regattas San Francisco winners include Origami captained by Ross Stein and True Playa captained by David Anthes.
There are no fees for spectators as there are many places around the San Francisco Bay that offers views of the regatta. The recommended Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regattas San Francisco viewing locations are the Corinthian Yacht Club and The Sausalito Yacht Club as these are the host and launch points for the boats and sailors.
