San Jose Earthquakes

The San Jose Earthquakes are a Major League Soccer (MLS) team that plays games at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The stadium opened for business back in 1962 on the University of Santa Clara’s campus, and has a seating capacity of 10,525 for Quakes games. The Boys in Blue starting scoring goals back in 1996 along with other founding members of the MLS. The Quakes have had some limited success in their short history, winning multiple MLS Cups, though the team is more known for coming up short in the standings. Some notable Earthquakes players include John Doyle, Brian Ching, Jimmy Conrad, Bobby Convey, Ronald Cerritos, Eric Wynalda, and Troy Dayak. Quakes’ tickets are relatively easy to secure – especially during a losing season.
