San Francisco Golden Gate RFC

The San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Football Club is a Rugby Super League team that plays games at the SFGGRC Field in San Francisco, California. The field was erected in 2005 for San Francisco Golden Gate games and can support hundreds of spectators depending on the amount of temporary stands in place. The San Francisco RFC has been tackling opponents since 2001 and currently plays in the Red Conference of the Rugby Super League. In its relatively short history, the team has had a modicum of success with multiple Super League Championship victories. Notable San Francisco RFC players include Thretton Palamo, Tasi Mounga, Shawn Pittman, Britt Howard, Grant Wells, Tony Daly, and Mark Scharrenberg.
