It’s not difficult to have fun in SF, nor is it a chore to uncover one of the many San Francisco parties going down throughout this lovely city on any given day.
Even though SF's club scene doesn’t compare to the scene in New York or LA, there is still a wide variety of great club nights to get in on, from major DJ parties at hopping stalwarts like Vessel and Ruby Skye to underground pop-up raves in SoMa or the outskirts of Bayview.
There’s a vibrant SF party scene tucked within the boundaries of this surprisingly small city, which makes getting from one cool underground party to another relatively easy – though parking once you get there can be a whole different story.
All-ages clubs are hard to come by in San Francisco, which may explain why so many of the city’s dance-happy teenagers routinely pile into The Rickshaw Stop, known far and wide for throwing great costume parties and other completely unpretentious themed events.
DNA Lounge is another popular all-ages clubs, and features big DJs, live music, burlesque, and even premiere parties, while it doesn’t get much grittier than the mix of 80s pop and bondage you’ll find at Cat Club’s parties.
You won’t find too many pool parties in SF, but there are lots of great after-parties that take place in little nooks near many of the major clubs, especially along the industrial blocks just south of Market Street Downtown.
Regardless of what you need, a quick look around Party Earth should reveal exactly the SF party you need.
