Doin’ It In The Park is a San Francisco Labor Day Weekend tradition that attracts over 3,000 families and groups of friends who come to Golden Gate Park to enjoy live music and a mass picnic. This free event was inspired by the legendary parties of the INFORMAL NATION La Raza Park which were popular in the early 1990s. Doin’ It in The Park is dedicated to unifying the different cultures of the urban scene while bringing together those who love a good time. The festival features many of the Bay Area’s biggest DJs including Mind Motion, Vinroc, Pam the Funktress, and Toph. At 10pm an after party which costs just $10 starts for those who are twenty-one and looking to dance late into the night to DJs such as Shorkut, Vinroc, and Mr. E.
