PalaLottomatica is an indoor sports and concert arena located in Rome, Italy. The arena, which has undergone several name changes since it opened in 1960, is part of the European Arenas Association and home to the Lotomattica Roma professional basketball team.
PalaLottomatica, housed in the EUR quarter of Rome, was built specifically for the 1960 Olympic games when it hosted the Olympic Basketball Tournament.
Other events at PalaLottomatica include the 1991 European Basketball Championships, and volleyball tournaments like the 2005 Men’s European Volleyball Championship and the 2010 FIVB Volleyball World Championship.
With a capacity of over 11,000, the venue not only hosts sporting events but also concerts, theater performances, and conferences. The Rolling Stones, Depeche Mode, Carlos Santana, and the Spice Girls are among past concert performers at PalaLottomatica.
