Rome Marathon Description

Rome Marathon - Running in Rome.

Part of the world marathon scene since 1983, the Rome Marathon is an annual race held in March that puts a whole new spin on the saying, “all roads lead to Rome.”

The full 26.2-mile Rome Marathon course can change year-to-year, but always promises to pass by some of the city’s most iconic buildings, including the Coliseum, Saint Peter's Square, and several stretches long the Tiber River.

The Rome Marathon is by no means the most popular marathon in Europe, but still manages to draw several thousand competitors every year.

Rome Marathon entry fees are €50 up to October 10th the year before the race, €60 up to December 18th, €75 up to January 31st (year of), and €80 up to March 4th, which is usually the final registration deadline for the Rome Marathon.
