AS Roma is a professional football club that plays matches at Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy. The stadium was opened in 1937, renovated in 1953 and 1990, and has a seating capacity of 72,698 for AS Roma matches. La Maggica (as they’re sometimes called) first started kicking balls around in 1927 and currently plays in Serie A, the most elite division of Italian football. Though it’s been around a long time, AS Roma’s history isn’t racked with tons of titles, though they’ve still managed to secure multiple Coppa Italia wins, Serie A victories, and Supercoppa Italiana wins. Some notable AS Roma players include Francesco Totti, Daniele De Rossi, Gabriel Heinze, Roberto Pruzzo, and Bruno Conti. AS Roma tickets can be hard to secure as they play against other Serie A elite squads throughout the year.
