Party Earth Ferrazza Wine Bar Review

The Scene

Thanks to its slightly higher prices and understated décor more typical of Centro than the university district, Ferrazza Wine Bar is often singled out as the anti-San Lorenzo bar.

Clean and modern, the décor consists mostly of racks of bottles separated by region and grape, an appropriate look for an enoteca that clearly prefers to focus on wine and its gastronomic accompaniments – in fact, every one of Ferrazza’s 1,000-plus wines is offered by the glass.

Although this virtually unheard-of service may leave some patrons at a loss, the waiters have a wealth of knowledge and are always willing to make recommendations that complement the equally impressive offerings of the bar-length aperitivo buffet.

With its family-run atmosphere and courteous staff, Ferrazza offers a friendly spot to share good wine with a hip yet easygoing crowd.

Great wine, great cheese, great atmosphere

I briefly stopped in here for a glass (or two) of wine after a long day exploring the city, and I was very pleased with the whole experience. I may be biased as an avid lover of all things wine and cheese related, but everything was delicious. I was there in towards the end of the day, so it was a very chill atmosphere with all around good vibes. Its a great place to go to relax and catch up with friends for a day-date. I sat outside, which I would definitely recommend so that you can take in the sounds of the city, but you can sit inside if you prefer a calmer environment with nice music. Definitely one of my favorite wine bars I've been to.
