What is your favorite part of the job?

My favorite part of the job is that it forces me to explore more of this amazing city. Barcelona has an overwhelming amount of bars and clubs and it’s easy to find a few that I like and keep coming back. With this job not only do I get to step outside of my norm, but I get to do it with a beer in my hand.

Short Story/Anecdote from your time on the job:

I was headed to a club that I frankly didn’t want to be at. My friends and I had been there too many times before and it had sort of lost its luster for me. I was watching a group of people look like they were literally having the best time ever behind the V.I.P. section and wandered over to the bouncer and asked how to get in. He said I had to be on the list, etc etc...I told him that was a shame because I was reviewing his club and I’d like to get the full experience. I’m not sure why but that worked, and the “full experience” ended up coming with Grey Goose. Not bad.

Which Party Earth reviewer(s) do you resemble most and why?

I think I’m most like the character Emma in that I’m really flexible and able to see the value in a variety of places and things. I’m not fussy about where I go as long as it’s with good people.

What is your perfect day in Barcelona? What are you doing and where are you going from morning to night?

My perfect day in Barcelona starts with a walk through El Raval, Barri Gòtic, and up Passeig de Gràcia before heading towards the beach for lunch. After lunch a trip to Park Güell or Montjuic is followed by a siesta and dinner. After dinner I’m headed to Razz or Apolo with my friends!
