I was in Florence and my friends and I wanted to go to a club called Club TwentyOne that some locals had told us about. We showed up and the line to get in was at least an hour long, so I decided to take my chances and walked up to the bouncer. In a mixture of butchered Italian and Spanish, I explained to him that I was a photographer (gesturing to my camera) working for Party Earth and wanted to photograph how fun their club was, and he let me and my friends right in, to the jealous looks of everyone still waiting in line!

I think I’m probably most like Jonah. I love all things outdoorsy and am always looking for the underground aspects of a city, from a hidden bar known only to the locals to the gnarliest dive with the cheapest pitchers and the best live music nights.

Waking up to a fresh pot (yes, a whole pot) of coffee, and if it’s a Sunday, heading to the Melrose Trading Post flea market. Afterwards, catching some rays at the beach (Manhattan or Hermosa) or heading to the hills of Malibu for some hiking and cliff jumping at the waterfalls. Meeting some friends for dinner at a restaurant I’ve yet to try, and then ending it all at a pub downtown or one right on the beach.
