Getting to check out places I never would have found on my own.

Went to check out Rodeo Bar for the first time and had a blast with the locals – and managed to score a few free shots from the bartender. Best part, though, wound up leaving with fully-sketched illustration of myself courtesy of one of the local patrons, who happened to be a full-time illustrator.

What is your perfect day in New York? What are you doing and where are you going from morning to night?

Things can get pretty crazy in NYC, but the best days are sometimes the slow ones. Catching street performers in the park or hitting up the cafés and bookstores around town make for great afternoons, while on any given night of the week, there’s live music to be heard somewhere and good food and drink to be had almost everywhere. The perfect days are the ones you don’t remember, spent with the friends you’ll never forget.
