What is your favorite part of the job?

One thing I love most about this job is that it gives me the perfect chance to explore awesome restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs that I have never been to before! Another perk of being a Party Earth writer is the special treatment I get from servers/ owners when they find out I am writing a review of their establishments.

Short Story/Anecdote from your time on the job:

During one of my earliest missions as a Party Earth writer, I visited the Gin Palace, a British pub in the East Village for a few drinks. Just as I was really starting to like the place and decided to write a great review, I realized that I have stumbled into Cienfuegos – a Cuban bar/restaurant located upstairs from Gin Palace! I ended up checking out two awesome bars on this serendipitous night, which have now become some of my favorite go-to spots in the city.

Which Party Earth reviewer(s) do you resemble most and why?

I see myself as a classic Emma. Some of my favorite things to do in NYC include going to hipster cafes, speakeasy bars and EDM concerts. I love venturing into new places, having spontaneous weekday nights and everything colorful and hipster

What is your perfect day in New York? What are you doing and where are you going from morning to night?

My perfect day definitely starts off with sunny and breezy weather. After getting my fix of coffee from Abraco Expresso, I head to Central Park with my friends to chill under the nice weather. Then I drop by the nice boutiques in the Upper West Side to do a little shopping. In the evening, I head back to the East Village to catch the Happy Hour special at Mermaid Inn for some fresh oysters and clams, then walk a few blocks to the Horus Café to grab some drinks and hookah.
