Now I have a reason to check out new places I haven't visited, plus a reason to document the venues I love. In the process, I always end up meeting local DJs, producers, promoters, and photographers at clubs and am offered samples of food and beverages at the best restaurants.

I was super excited to photograph one of my favorite venues, Underbar. I was even more excited when I found out George Acosta, one of my favorite DJ/producers, was headlining the night I was scheduled to shoot! I showed up at the beginning of the night to find one of my local DJ friends Leo playing an opening trance set in the booth and right next to him was a group of promoters I knew, hanging out in VIP. Working at a great place in the presence of a world-renowned artist, a local superstar DJ, and cool people is a total win.

I'd say I'm most like Adriana because I have endless energy and swear by the sophisticate's fashion handbook (if such a thing exists). Her BlackBerry is an essential, and I'm the only one of my friends who still uses one. Nope, no iPhone.

My perfect day in Boston begins with fresh fruit at a local brunch spot. After running errands, meeting a friend for lunch (preferably patio seating in warm weather) and walking down Newbury Street to Kenmore is a great afternoon filler. In the evening, my usual schedule is a lounge like Bond or Lolita, then a dance club like Umbria or Underbar, and then ending the night at RISE after-hours for the best electronic music.
