What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job was going to places I had never been, meeting people I otherwise would have never met, and overcoming photographic challenges like difficult lighting, tight spaces, and bringing to life the written reviews for each venue.
Short Story/Anecdote from your time on the job:
People react to the camera in one of two ways: either they buddy up for a moment of jubilation to be captured in time, or it gets you to the top of a list you don’t want to be on!
Which Party Earth reviewer(s) do you resemble most and why?
I most resemble a mix between
Jonah and
Emma, in that I am as curious as Jonah about culture and life as the locals live, preferring to “feel the vibe” and be active outdoors; likewise, I am as drawn to natural wonders, authenticity, and spending my afternoons in museums and parks just like Emma.
What is your perfect day in Florence? What are you doing and where are you going from morning to night?
My perfect day in Florence would start by going to a small café for a cappuccino, followed by walking aimlessly around the city with camera in hand, eating dinner at a nice local restaurant, and going to an art exhibit at one of the many wonderful museums or galleries that Florence has to offer. The best way to finish it off is in good company with good conversation over a good glass of wine.
