Without question, soccer is the most popular of all Paris sports. The home team is of course Paris Saint-Germain F.C. or PSG, and they play on the outskirts of the city at Parc des Princes. Winners of multiple tournaments and championships, PSG competes both against other French teams and around Europe as well.

Football isn’t the only game Parisians are passionate about though, as basketball has steadily become one of the most popular sports with French international stars playing more and more in the NBA.

Other major sports in Paris and events include the French Open, one of the four biggest tennis tournaments in the world, the final stage of the Tour de France, the most prestigious race in all of cycling, and the Open de France European Tour golf tournament played in and around Paris every year.
