Party Earth Buddha Bar Review

The Scene

It's pretty hard to miss the theme at Buddha Bar, where flowers and statuettes flank the entrance and the delicate perfume of fragrant Oriental incense teases the air.

It’s pretty hard to miss the theme at Buddha Bar, where flowers and statuettes flank the entrance and the delicate perfume of fragrant Oriental incense teases the air.

But the true experience begins when patrons are confronted by the 40-foot statue of the meditating Buddha that dominates the dining room, and the exhilarating sight of the 100-foot bar adorned with a massive dragon’s head at one end and a spiny tail at the other.

The best seat in the house is undoubtedly in the balcony bar, where chic guests can nibble on sushi while taking in the whole scene of golden glowing candles from a comfortable perch.

On weekends, the venue's energy is amped up when a diverse crowd of international jet-setters dances around the bar to Arabian techno, although its underlying tranquility never totally diminishes.

A harmonious mix of exotic and chic, Buddha Bar makes it easy to find one’s inner-self – especially when that self is drunk on sugary sweet cocktails.

This restaurant is located 2 minutes from the Place de la Concorde and in the same street as the Embassy of the United States. The decor and service are excellent. The interior and the bar are friendly and the Great Buddha is the beautiful part of this restaurant. The appetizers and cocktails are delicious and innovative. The variation of food and wine is great, especially the mixture of French cuisine with Asian cuisine. I think the Buddha Bar is an exquisite restaurant for a nice evening with friends.
Trendy and fun restaurant-- a MUST GO in Paris

This is definitely one of the hippest places I've been to. If anyone knows my mom, then you know she is the queen at finding the most fun places to go out, and during our mother/daughter trip to Paris for my 18th birthday she brought me here for dinner one night. We had met up with some of our friends who happened to be in Paris at the same time, so we were a group of 5 ladies ready for a fun night out. As we entered the restaurant there was a huge Buddha right in the center, and very dim lighting which made the restaurant seem more like a lounge. The waiters were all very cute, so naturally we kept ordering more and more drinks! It's definitely extremely pricey so I'm fortunate that my mom was able to take me here because I wouldn't be able to afford it on my own, but if you come to Paris and you want a very cool and trendy restaurant I highly recommend this place!
Simply Awesome

Dress nice, this place is classy and I love it. The atmosphere screams exclusivity, getting drinks here is a must if you want to feel like a true Parisian. The tranquility allows you to truly enjoy your twenty dollar drink. Conversation flows seamlessly as the low music let's you actually understand what the other person is saying unlike other bars where you just pretend to know what they just said. Try to get seated on the second floor nearest the bar where the view of the lounge is unparalleled.
