A premiere destination for sophisticated partiers in search of an elegant night out, Barramundi is a luxurious restaurant during the week and a hopping club on Saturdays.
Entering via a sweeping elliptical staircase which leads to a dimly lit main room, chic couples take seats on tufted gray banquettes, sipping cabernet and dining on steak tartare at mahogany tables accented by tea lights.
The long bar that stretches across the back of the room is home to a mellow after-dinner scene during the week, but on weekends the tables are pushed aside, transforming the restaurant into a dance club that pulses with house, R&B, and the thumping rhythms of DJs who spin until dawn.
Strutting their stuff against a backdrop of Indo-African statuettes and abstract paintings, stylish young partiers sip champagne cocktails and toast to their success underneath the glow of purple-hued chandeliers, getting their drink, dance, grind, and grope on until the sun comes up over the Seine.
A spot that mixes Asian fusion cuisine with high-end drinks and a decidedly upscale vibe, Barramundi brings the buzz but not the hangover.
Sophisticated girlfriends, trendy office workers, and chic couples, mid 20s+.
Ambient lounge music in the restaurant. DJ spins house and R&B in the club.
