Opened in 2006 by Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and partners, BC was immediately known for hosting celebrity birthdays and high-fashion parties, making it one of Paris’ sleekest scenes that’s still going strong.
A guarded black door with a discreet buzzer – or, as the night progresses, an impenetrable doorman – give access to a tiny bar featuring low lighting and stainless steel and black lacquer details.
Seating is comprised of a small lounge area with a handful of tables, though later in the evening, these are reserved for cash flush patrons ordering bottle service.
Depending on the night, customers may or may not be given access to the small club on the lower level, a rectangular lounge with fluorescent lighting and black sofas where stylish groups gather to drink, lounge, and chat to a background of rock music.
Whether filled with rockers, skinny fashionistas, or the occasional big spender, BC offers an ultra-chic scene with a self-contained vibe well suited to cocktails with special friends – especially when those friends include Leonardo DiCaprio, Andy Roddick, and many of the top models du jour.
Sophisticated and edgy international jet set, 20s and 30s.

Weekends. Given the exclusive nature of the club, however, it’s usually easier to get in on weeknights before midnight.
