With its posh Champs-Élysées address, it’s no surprise that Le Milliardaire (“The Billionaire”) – a bright-lights, big-hyped dance hall – draws a glitzy crowd of fashionable international clubbers.
After passing under the classic black and gold awning, patrons enter an historic art nouveau cabaret space whose red brocade walls, delicate glass sconces, and illuminated faux stained glass images give a nod to the venue’s theatrical days.
Dominated by a large elevated stage where live bands and DJs perform several nights a week, the lower level features black leather booths and candlelit tables, as well as an extravagant gold- and leather-detailed bar, which becomes the center of activity for Versace-clad scenesters eager to mix, mingle, and get wasted.
Those looking for a more intimate experience can take the curved staircase to the upper level, where semi-private booths and tables are perfect for group get-togethers or romantic rendezvous.
Although an evening of sipping Cosmos and champagne may start quietly, the vibe intensifies after 1am when well-lubricated partiers pack the small dance floor for a night of dancing and hobnobbing with the “bling society.”
Extravagant to its core, Le Milliardaire leaves everyone feeling like the crème de la crème – or at least everyone who can get in.
Flashy mix of international status seekers, groups of women, and high roller wannabes in suits, early 20s to mid-30s.
Resident DJs spin hip-hop and pop. Live bands Friday and Saturday nights play everything from rock to pop.
Occasional after-work events on Wednesday and Thursday nights, including a catered appetizer buffet and an open champagne bar for ladies.
Cover charge €15 for live music. Wine €10+, cocktails €15+, champagne €12+, bottle service €120+.
Champs-Élysées club attire: designer dresses, classic Armani suits, and dress shirts and pants.
Fridays and Saturdays for the mix of live music and DJs, or Thursdays when ladies drink champagne for free.
