Once a private gentlemen’s club, Roxanne long ago traded in its dance poles for a DJ booth to become the charming and intimate little bar it is today.
That’s not to say it didn’t hang on to some remnants of its salacious history: although the upstairs bar features a minimal but chic décor, the two sitting rooms in the downstairs lounge still recall the past with mirrored walls and a pole or two.
Located on a quiet street just off the Champs-Élysées, Roxanne’s comfortable and cozy atmosphere has contributed to its rising popularity among an eclectic mix of bohemian types and clubbers, as well as a smattering of fashion and arts professionals.
An air of privacy makes Roxanne a great place for hush-hush conversations whether patrons stop in for pre-club drinks, a low-key night out, or a post-club cool down.
Mix of French and international patrons, slightly upscale, 20s and 30s.
DJ plays pop and electronic.
Drinks only, including the signature mojito.
Beer €5+, cocktails €7+.
Smart casual.
Weekends are the busiest.
