Parque de la Ciudadela

Parque de la Ciudadela is a peaceful setting in which to take a break from the chaos, and it attracts plenty of Spaniards and visitors who come to relax or catch a siesta during the day. The park can get quite dirty during the nighttime festivities, but it’s usually cleaned up by 3pm and ready once again to welcome those in search of a bit of rest. Remember that the festival takes place in the middle of July, so shaded areas become prime real estate – if you see one, spread out and get comfortable.
