One of Broadway's oldest theaters, the Lunt-Fontanne Theater, originally named The Globe after Shakespeare's famous theater, opened in New York in 1910 as a musical and dramatic performance space. The 1,500-person capacity venue features orchestra and two levels of mezzanine seating.

Since its inception, productions at Lunt-Fontanne Theater have included The Sound of Music, Beatlemania, Peter Pan, Titanic, the Musical, and Beauty and the Beast. The current production at Lunt-Fontanne Theater is Ghost, The Musical. During the presentation of Titanic, the Musical, the theater’s lobby was painted with the names of all the passengers of the Titanic’s infamous voyage.

Concessions at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre are available during intermission, and show tickets for Lunt-Fontanne Theater are available at the box office and through Ticketmaster. The theater is best accessed by public transportation.
