St. John's Red Storm Men's Basketball

The St. John’s Red Storm is a Division I NCAA basketball team that plays games at Madison Square Garden and Carnesecca Arena in Midtown, Manhattan and Queens, New York respectively. The Garden first opened in 1968 and has a seating capacity of 19,763 while Carnesecca was opened in 1961 and seats 5,602. The Red Storm play in the Big East Conference and have racked up multiple conference championships and Elite Eight and Final Four appearances since they started shooting hoops back in 1907. Notable Red Storm players include Chris Mullen, Walter Berry, Mark Jackson, Metta World Peace, and Malik Sealy. Red Storm tickets are a little easier to get when they’re playing in the massive Garden, but Carnesecca Arena games fill up fast with its limited capacity.
