Jun 5, 2012 — Simply put, New York is one of the chicest playgrounds on the planet, a place where having money or fame means getting access to the best of absolutely everything, from red-hot nightlife to couture fashion.
While the shopping on Fifth Avenue and in SoHo is fantastic for finding all the Vogue-worthy trends hot off the runways of New York’s fashion weeks, what’s even better is slipping into that new Diane Von Furstenberg and heading to the Meatpacking District, Nolita, or Chelsea to party at exclusive clubs with the crème de la crème. Once there, you’ll be sipping Patron with A-listers and supermodels, or poking holes with your stilettos in the leather booths while Amex-flashing Wall Street boys buy more bottles.
And if you don’t want the party to end, it’s easy to find hot weekend brunch scenes where you can pop bottles of Dom and dance with the other fashionable daytime partiers. Of course New York’s social scene is excessive, but if you’re going to be spending money, you may as well be getting the best there is.
