92YTribeca Concert Venue / Performing Arts Center

The 92nd Street Y, short for the 92nd Street Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association, has long been a cultural institution – including one of the city’s most prestigious primary schools – on the Upper East Side. In 2008, the organization opened 92YTribeca, a downtown performance space.

Performances at 92YTribeca include live music, comedy, theater, dance, and film. A lecture hall and meeting spaces lend themselves to other events at 92YTribeca like educational programs, while an art gallery features up-and-coming talent. True to its roots, 92YTribeca also has Jewish cultural events. 92Y runs a generous schedule of performances and adult-enrichment classes, and some of its offerings are free of charge. Tickets and reservations at 92YTribeca are handled through the organization’s website.

Capacity varies by space, but the mainstage can accommodate an audience of up to 180 people, the screening room 72 people, and the main lecture hall 90 people. A café on the premises, Café 92YTribca, has a localvore focus and is a kosher dairy facility. The café is open daily. The performance space contains a full bar.
