Bananas Comedy Club (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) Comedy Club

Located in Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County, New Jersey, Bananas Comedy Club opened in 1988. Since then, many top comics, including Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock, have played the venue. Jimmy Fallon had his first stand-up performance here, when he entered an open-mic performance at his mother’s urging and won.

With a capacity of about 200, Bananas is a major stop on the northeast comedy circuit, and today’s talents and possible future stars visit every weekend. Performances at Bananas Comedy Club are scheduled most Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a few Sundays. Nights typically have an early performance around 8pm and a late performance around 10:30pm.

The Bananas location in a Holiday Inn lets visitors stay the night, and show-and-room packages are available. A dinner package includes dinner two hours before show time and priority seating, otherwise seating is on a first-come basis, with doors opening one hour before the early show and half an hour before the late show.

Bar food and beverages at Bananas Comedy Club are available during the show, and there is a one-item minimum for each guest. Parking is free. All shows are ages 16+.
