The range of options for both daytime and nighttime revelry in Munich is seemingly endless. With many monuments, expansive parks, lively beer gardens, and bumping clubs, the Bavarian capital has something for everyone.
Things to do that are good for groups in Munich are bountiful. A popular way to see the city’s many historic sights, meet other young international tourists and backpackers, and have a few drinks along the way is to sign up for Mike’s Bike Tours. The calorie-burning, sightseeing activity comes to a convenient stop next to Hofbräuhaus, a huge beer hall that’s hosted Munich groups since the 16th century.
For some fresh air, groups may want to check out Munich’s zoo, the Tierpark Hellbrunn, which is one of the best and biggest in the world. Another place with enough room for the whole gang is the Englisher Garden, a massive park with many landmarks that is popular with friends, families, picnickers, and lovers out for romantic strolls.
