Au-Haidhausen, Munich –
Located in a former city power plant, Muffatwerk is one of Munich’s most versatile venues and consists of a concert hall, beer garden, and club.
The unusual location and excellent acoustics of Muffathalle – the spacious concert venue – draw internationally acclaimed artists, especially rock, indie, and reggae bands, who entertain their appreciative fans as they let loose with some high-energy dancing.
On non-concert nights, the action shifts to Club Ampere for themed DJ parties that attract hundreds of young and frenzied music lovers who prefer a more underground alternative to the usual Munich clubbing scene.
In the summer, the beer garden offers themed dinners that coordinate with the nationality of the live artist or band that happens to be playing, making for a great way to meet new people and size up the fun-loving crowd.
Overall, Muffatwerk provides a breath of alternative air to Munich’s sometimes homogenous clubbing and concert scene, as well as a perfect location for a long night of underground partying.
