Kranhalle Concert Venue

Kranhalle, or Crane Hall, is one of four venues that make up the Feierwerk complex in Munich’s Sendling district.

Designed in a modern industrial look, Kranhalle has ceilings over eight meters high with large screens hoisted high on trusses making it a versatile venue for new music and new media.

Concerts at Kranhalle have been performed by bands such as, Big Sexy Noise, Ceremony, The Bollock Brothers, Abigail Williams, Kurt Vile, Timber Timbre, and Exploding Boy.

Other than music, the Kranhalle is also a venue for art shows and literary activities.

The Feierwerk complex also houses Hansa 39 and the Orange House. For large shows the three venues can combine to hold up to 1,000 spectators.
