Feierwerk Information
Feierwerk is a complex of venues that began in 1982 and is located in Munich’s Sendling district.
Beginning as an impromptu venue for shows in 1982 Feierwerk really got started in 1984 with the First Rock Band Feierwerk competition. Since then performances at Feierwerk have included such acts as, Massive Attack, Godspeed, Le Tigre, the White Stripes, Broken Social Scene, The Arcade Fire and Caribou.
The complex, which houses Hansa 39, the Orange House, and the Crane Hall Café, is also ideal for festivals. Recurring festivals at Feierwerk are Beat-O-Mania, Sunny Red, the Sound of Munich Festival and the Flower Street Festival.
Feierwerk is also a creative and cultural space with its own skatepark, creative workshops, radio station and recording space.
Hansa 39 has a capacity of 500, while the Orange House can accommodate 200.
