A live music and dance club, Atomic Café offers a cool change of pace from many of the city’s more upscale venues. The alternative vibe created by a décor of bright pink walls, low red lighting, and modish touches attracts a stylishly eclectic international crowd looking to dance the night away and listen to a varied mix of music.

The space’s small size makes for a more intimate – and definitely more cramped – clubbing experience, and patrons will undoubtedly be drawn onto the dance floor by the swirl of rainbow-colored lights, pulsating music, and energetic young crowd.

Guests shouldn’t be put off by the empty dance floor early in the evening – the club doesn’t heat up until midnight, so it’s enough to lay low and join the other young patrons sipping beer on retro couches and rocking out to the live music that takes place almost every night.

Besides hosting a variety of international artists, Atomic Café is also one of the few places in Munich where local and international DJs come to show off their stuff for fans of drum and bass, which helps give this club a cool atmosphere with an undeniable energy.

A must for all music lovers!

The Atomic Cafe is one of THE places to go in Munich to discovered many new and upcoming live bands. Locals bands and touring artists from across the globe frequent the venue almost every night, drawn to the energetic crowd and intimate layout of the venue. I would describe the decor of the venue as 70's Disco with a Grungy twist. Several seating areas, two bars a small stage and a great dance-floor. Superb selection of drinks on offer including many of the delicious local Bavarian beers all at great prices. Prost!
Awesome for gig lovers

I had a freakin BLAST at this place. The size is perfect for a gig, not too big and small enough to get right up front to the band. The stage is almost at level with the crowd, which is a plus, and the acoustics are good. We came to see my friend's band play, so we stuck around well after the gig. I gotta say the backstage room is a hole in the wall, but rock bands I'm sure love the gritty vibe and free food/drinks. Atomic was a pleasant surprise, we weren't even sure if we'd find it, but it was super easy, the staff are nice and not snobs, and I bet it's fun to play here too.
