“A cocktail a day keeps the doctor away,” or so says the sign at this cute bar with a distinct Italian flair.
Small and incredibly cozy, Negroni buzzes with regulars, especially on the weekends, and offers some of the best cocktails in Munich – and it has the collection of Golden Shaker trophies to prove it.
Owned by two Italians, Negroni offers an authentic Italian ambiance and over 140 cocktails, sixty of which are the original, prize-winning creations of the owners. The ample selection, combined with the décor of dark wood and intimate soft lighting, creates a space perfect for mingling, and glowing candles add just the right touch of romance.
Thanks to its cocktail accomplishments and the appealing atmosphere, the bar manages to draw a stylish and hip clientele that shows up on a nightly basis to converse with good friends about life, art, and politics, or to enjoy a romantic night out.
Weeknights are best for a more relaxed evening with a quieter ambiance conducive to deep conversations, while weekends heat up to a more energetic and bubbly vibe that attracts an exuberant pre-club crowd. During the summer, the terrace provides a lovely spot to enjoy the balmy summer nights.
In addition to its stellar cocktails, the venue also offers a constantly changing daily menu of simple but tasty Italian fare.
Negroni is always crowded, so cocktail connoisseurs may want to arrive early or make a reservation on the weekends.
Negroni’s owners have won tons of prizes for their amazing cocktails. Especially noteworthy are the Café del Mar, a tart and refreshing rum cocktail inspired by the famous Ibizan café with the same name, and the indulgent Black Moon, which combines Bailey’s and bananas into the perfect after-dinner drink.
