Real Madrid CF

Real Madrid CF is a team in La Liga that plays its home games at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain. The current stadium was finished in 1955, and can fit in 85,454 fans for Real Madrid matches. The football club was founded in 1902, and Los Blancos have been one of the dominant European clubs ever since. They share an intense rivalry with FC Barcelona, who is often their main La Liga competitor each year. Through its history, Real Madrid has won over 30 La Liga championships, more than a dozen Copa del Rey’s, multiple UEFA Champions Leagues, European Cups, and UEFA Cups. Some of the team’s most prominent players are legends like Luís Figo, Zinedine Zidane, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Real Madrid tickets can be bought online or at the stadium, but it is advised to buy them at least two weeks ahead of time, and much prior to that for big games like El Clásico.

If you think that FC Barcelona is the best football team in the history of sport, as a Real Madrid’s faithful fan, I feel obliged to put you right. Of course, I don’t deny that in the last years Catalonians dominated Primera Division (Spanish football league), but it’s Real Madrid’s players who won 9 European Cups which is an absolute record in the history. I won’t mention numbers of other trophies, because I think that the biggest achievement is an incredible regiment of fans all around the world who believe in the victories and the next cups even if your beloved team loses unexpectedly with the team which isn’t FC Barcelona. Last Friday I was devastated by defeat with our (true supporter always considers Madrid the second home despite never even visiting Spain) crosstown rival – Atletico. But it doesn’t matter what game of Real I watch – won or lost – I’m always envious of Spanish audience which doesn’t even feel that matches on such a high level are something special. Because if I would like to see Polish national football team playing so wonderfully even for a minute, I would have to invite my friends and turn the Playstation on.

Real Madrid is one of the most successful clubs in football history which has seem them win 9 champions league titles and 32 La Liga titles. The clubs hosts other teams in the historic Estadio Santiago Bernabéu stadium which has capacity 85000 supporters. The atmosphere in the stadium during matches is electric but fiesty when there's a match against their arch rivals FC Barcelona. In recent seasons, they havent had as much success as before due to the emergence of an unbeatable and unplayable Barcelona team. After continous losses to Barcelona, Madrid salvaged some glory last season by winning the LA Liga. Their roster includes top players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Casillas. Hala Madrid!
