Located on a small street in one of Madrid’s business districts is Fortuny, a lavish mansion-style chalet whose elegant Mediterranean restaurant and upscale lounge and club cater to the city’s elite.
Just past the luxury cars and discerning doormen on the street is a beautiful inner courtyard covered in a canopy of lush, leafy trees where dozens of well-heeled patrons in Armani and Prada mingle while formal waiters balance trays high overhead.
The ground floor of the house is given over to a full-service bar and a surprisingly vibrant dance floor in the living room. Save for a projection screen showing photos of past clients, the walls are a bit bare, but the elegant architecture and beautiful people provide all the décor needed.
Weary patrons looking for escape can make their way up Fortuny's wide staircase to the second floor VIP space, where another bar and several tables offer a place to relax before rejoining the exquisite celebration below.
And yes, it will all probably cost a small fortune-y.
