Jun 13, 2012 —  Madrid has more bars per square inch than just about anywhere else, so it’s easy to have a great time bouncing between dozens of places all in the same neighborhood.

If you’re interested in clubs – but definitely not interested in long lines or outrageous cover charges – there are also tons of ‘bar clubs,’ which are medium-sized venues with small dance floors and hopping bar areas. These places are perfect when you’re looking for some good music, maybe a little dancing, and cheap drinks.

Madrileños also love to celebrate all sorts of cultural events and holidays, which often seem to be excuses for throwing yet another wild street party.
