An 11-day celebration of all things beer, LA Beer Week offers Los Angeles denizens a host of opportunities to sample new and creative – and downright odd – beer and beer-related concoctions at participating venues all over town, culminating in a festival at Downtown’s historic Union Station with more (you guessed it) BEER!
Would-be patrons should check the official LA Beer Week website calendar for the latest updates, which will likely include information on special tappings, beer float ice-cream parties, and many discounts at the several dozen participating bars and restaurants.
LA Beer Week has been an annual September event since first-launching in 2009.
After you’ve spent a few days stumbling across the city, head to the Los Angeles Beer Week Festival to ogle more than 70 local, regional, national, and international craft and artisan brewery representatives, all pouring a wide array of their beers, including some rare sudsy goodness and even a special few available only for LA Beer Week.
Prices at each of the participating venues during LA Beer Week vary. Tickets for the LA Beer Week Festival are $50 and include unlimited four-ounce pours. Designated driver tickets (that means you can’t drink while you are there!) are $5.
Food is not included in the ticket price, but can be purchased at LA Beer Week from a selection of local food trucks that will be on hand.
